The Architectural Marvel of Kimbell

You’ll find that the architecture of the Kimbell Art Museum is a marvel in itself, designed with a sophistication that’s hard to ignore. Its design, by celebrated architect Louis Kahn, masterfully integrates natural light, creating an atmosphere that breathes freedom to your creative instincts.

The museum’s structure is a series of vaulted galleries, connected by a spine-like corridor. Each vault, with its cycloid-shaped ceilings, is a work of art, enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the exhibits within. The sleek, minimalistic design doesn’t overshadow the art, but rather, magnifies its allure.

Kahn’s deft use of light is where you’ll find liberation. The museum’s roof features narrow slits, allowing natural light to filter in, reflected off the interior white surfaces. This creates an ethereal, ever-changing ambiance, just as nature intended.

The materials used in construction further enhance the museum’s appeal. The use of concrete, travertine, and white oak affords a sense of warmth and earthiness. It’s a free, organic experience, a far cry from the sterility often associated with galleries.

The Kimbell Art Museum’s architecture isn’t just a container for art, but a testament to the freedom of architectural expression.

My husband called this morning (Saturday). Reese called him back and gave him a time frame of when he would be here. Reese came out, waited while our insurance company was called, and then proceeded to fix our garage door. Thank you for the Saturday solution to our problem! We are so grateful and we recommend this company to anyone experiencing problems with their garage door.

The technician who came out was onetime and gave me a head ups when he was in route which I appreciated. He was honest with what needed to be done and I didn't feel like he was trying to take advantage of me, being a female, or try to pressure me into anything. (I had this happen with my last garage repair with a different company.) He quickly got my door up and running and was able to provide a quote for a replacement door which will be needed in the near future. His quote was a solid $400 under the competitors from the different company I referred to above. I feel like they are a trustworthy company and will use them when I'm ready to replace.
